Confidence, by TigreDeVour
|
I'm writing, yet heartbreak isn't here.
I'm happy but my love isn't near.
I'm alone, but your presence I sense,
I'm in love, but there's no glass wall; no fence.
I'm not shy and not holding back,
For confidence I no longer lack.
You have loved me no matter what,
For this reason I no longer cut.
Your sharp tongue doesn't hurt me,
I know you mean well.
You'll be fine in five minutes.
I know, I can tell.
I love you, I always have
You're the one for me.
My mind you have challenged,
My heart, you've set free.
