One day I was wondering Why I had no friends Sure the teachers liked me But they aren't my friends In school people ignore me I'm referred to as "it" Am I an unwanted disease? Or a thing that should be left, To die in a pit? Now I know why They treat me this way It's because I'm smart Because I get A's I'm not alien Or a weird space thingy I'm a normal person At least, I am to me So obviously I don't belong Why I don't know I'm left wishing That someone would like me I wish someone would like me I wish....

Well... I'm sure I'd like you ... JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!!! :) Don't ever let others put you down!! They're not worth it!! As long as you stay true to who YOU ARE... It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks!!! Let me know if u ever want 2 talk!! :) Great poem!!

I know, but that's not how I feel about myself though. My friend was convinced something was wrong with her so I wrote this poem in attempt to show her the error of her belief! Thank-you for the comment!

Sad poem.People are cruel to things and people who make them feel stupid.Or not as intelligent as others. Life has a way of changing when we least expect it.Hope and faith is a blessing to have in a persons life. Smart always find a way to over come obstacles. Don't let people's opinion of today become your handicap tomorrow. You have a beautiful and caring personality. I can tell that by the way you wrote your poem. Which tells me you'll overcome these extremely rude people in your life. Chin up.
