When you're with me I can't see anyone else I stare up and into your face. Your eyes lock with mine the world stands still Because I see the man you are behind your blue eyes. I feel the way your heart is twisted in anguish And how the words just won't come out. We can make this work if only you would try. I'm not ready to give up on a chance at something real. You're not the horrible person you see I can see your broken heart and your bruised soul. I want to love you with the passion I once did. Don't be afraid when I say these things to you.
