It hurts that No one hears me I feel like No one sees me I cry, but they Are left to stay No one wipes My tears away I try to Stay strong I keep on Playing along Continue to Fake each laugh From behind This here mask Yet I don't Feel the pain And that may Sound insane But then Each smile Gets old After awhile And you no Longer feel What used To be real What used To make you cry But now Just numb inside! you've got it right. After living and dealing with pain so long. Going numb is the only thing left to do.
