The Moon in the River, by thndrhwk
|
Today I watched
the moon in the river
as it bled into the lake.
Cold black silk, woven
by the maidens of the stars.
I once knew the path of the
water, but I have forgotten.
Such a long, long way for the dreamer.
Today I watched
the moon in the river
as it fell away in the distance
to the place that you sleep.
The river moves on;
it too, dreams of you. |
