We were best friends,
But you got caught up in all the trends,
And your boyfriends,
I still want to be friends,
But it all depends,
If your obsession ends,
What you say the way you act really offends,
All of your good friends,
I’m the only one who defends,
You when they say that you don’t have friends,
But I’m sick of listening to all your commands,
So I say this is where it ends,
We are no longer best friends,
Because not matter how I try,
I can’t be friends,
With someone
Who's as stuck up as you've become
Don't tell me you're sorry
You said that last week
You said that you would change
Well I don't need you
From this day forward
We are Ex-Best Friends

I hate the feeling of having to do that to your best friend but I had to do it a few weeks ago. It hurts. Good poem!

I know exactly how it feels to have a ex best friend someone that you thought would always be there turns their backs and never makes time for anyone else but themselves. This poem is so realistic and amazingly written thank you for sharing your work :). It helps to know someone else feels the same way I do.
