I'm writing this to remind you of how important it is to stay strong. I am writing this at a time when you need it, because yes, he did you wrong. It upsets me to see you hurt, your one of the sweetest people I know. I wish I could find a way to help you end it and somehow soften the blow. You have so much to offer and it's wasting away on someone who will never appreciate it. And I know there's someone perfect out there who can make the pieces fit. I know you must be tired, I know you must feel used. Walking away will be hard, but your heart is only bruised. Surronding yourself with the love of your family and friends will fill that empty space. Those bruises will heal, take it from me, and what will return is the smile on your face. I love you girl, and you deserve the best, that's what I hope your taking from this poem. You deserve it all, a loving husband, beautiful kids and one day a happy home.

Oh wow. I like this. Who was it to? Best friend? I hope so, this is amazing. None of my friends are poets like me, so they don't understand poetry like this, but it's amazing!

I wrote this to a really good friend who doesn't believe that she deserves more than her dishonest boyfriend has to offer. It's for anyone who can relate though. We all deserve the best.
