We All Say Goodbye , by xxSoulsxxLiexx
|
Dreams escape the unconcious mind
as her silohette leaves this shallow world behind
no more will rubies line her veins
as it now washes away when it rains.
There she lies in her wooden box
with the rest of her days for her body to relax
encase her in soil to keep her warm
and her marrow remains feed the lawn.
The birds will descend over her headstone
the roses that grow prove she is not alone
in her decaying state of sweetened sorrow
her wristwatch still ticking but no more time to borrow.
The last goodnight and the last goodbye
we all go through these when we die
our silohettes are the last to leave
but they bless our loved ones as they grieve. |
