They just stood there
Right there in the schoolyard
The first look was easy
Not complicated, not hard
He saw her as a friend
Only she wasn't so sure
She felt something, something new
Was something about to occur?
She fell into his deep green eyes
As he walked slowly towards her
"Hey" His voice ringed in her ear
A voice that truly enchanted her
She smiled happily
But didn’t do anything else
He smiled again… back at her
Sorry, but this is what the story tells

| I like this, I like the idea behind it the only problem is it reads more like a story, to me, than poetry, but I dunno there's still something about it that I like, I think with a tiny bit more work this could be really, really good! |
