Truth, by bedazzled
|
Delusions
can be beautiful.
A flowing tapestry
of vivid colours
that binds me and you
together.
Our love
was never meant to be.
There are padlocks
and tripwires,
there are pitfalls
all around.
But we could never
surrender,
could we?
Forbidden lovers.
Fuelled by lies,
those twisted words
that make it possible
for our pulses to entwine.
It's winter now
and, wrapped in ice,
I wonder if the bleak sun
will ever set on us.
Some secrets
can not be kept.
But I can not be kept
away from you,
my lifesource,
my all.
So I keep weaving
tapestries,
beautiful delusions
so I don't have to deny
myself,
US,
truth.
