I seen you sitting there, 
sitting alone here.
 
I seen that tear fall, 
And all of a sudden I knew it all.
 
Then you looked at me.
You were so cried out it was hard for you to breathe.
 
You asked,

Do you believe?!
Do you believe in love?
That there is a power higher sent from above?
There there is somebody, for everybody?
I need to know, 
Do you believe in love?
 
I stood there shocked, 
and confused, 
unsure of the words I should use.
 
So much time has passed.
And you healed pretty fast.
 
But then I was all alone, 
sitting on my own.
 
Tears were pouring down,
like the rain we seen on the ground.
 
You came to my side.
And said your attention was all mine.
 
I explained, 
All my pain.
 
Then you asked. 
 
CH:
 
I remembered that same phrase you spoke before.
I didn't answer you.
So you walked away with out another word. 
 
Your wedding day came.
Time for you to become her man. 
 
I was just the best friend, 
and no matter what that was something we didn't let end.
 
After this wedding of yours.
This wedding that turned our visions to blurs.
 
I walked over to you, 
I smile at how this was so un-new.
 
I seen you sitting there,
