Sky, by bedazzled
|
Hello,
blue sky,
waking from your hibernation.
It's been too long.
Grey cotton armies
whispered suicide,
while you snoozed
behind their shield.
But daisy chains
and petal dresses
catch me,
I'm weaving sunshine
hope.
I need your golden beams
inside my heart.
Illuminate me,
I've been dark,
my friend.
I've felt raindrop fractures
drip down my veins,
puddles nestle amongst my thoughts.
I thought you'd gone for good,
this time.
But no,
there you peek shyly
through embarassed leaves;
naked, vivid lime.
I pack my storms
in scarves,
don't fade away again.
I love the way
you refresh each pulse,
please refresh his,
too.
