Birth, by Invisible Poet
|
As the spirit
Climbed out
The center of
The soul,
First the warm
Body,
Reluctantly
Then the mind
Stepped through
Into the emptiness of
The void
life

As the spirit
Climbed out
The center of
The soul,....................
I like it!
Naturally I would! :)
I can look at this poem on two different levels, and still see the beauty of a new birth, whether it is a birth of an infant, ready to grow into one of God's precious children, or whether it is signifying the new birth of a spiritual nature, It is simply beautiful! :)
First the warm
Body,
Reluctantly
Then the mind
Stepped through........
Oh yeah, the mind is at it again... The carnal nature of our body wants to be reluctant for sure, our flesh is so reluctant but it wants to take that space which God occupies...That God- shaped Void place in our Souls. and sit on the throne of Self.
Into the emptiness of
The void
life
Into the emptiness of the Void of Life.....
This stanza is one which can be filled, when someone or something is empty...It or the person can definately be filled. the question is though, filled with what?
If a new birth as an infant child, then fill it with love and care from the first moments of time, continue on to fill it with the LOVE of God from that Void Zone where the worlds were created from, and with the Word of God.
I really like this poem and got a vivid picture from it.
beauty for ashes! :)
