a small black dot, by Mary Magdalene

hope that it makes you feel better
just know you never truly had her
she's one with the cactus
in the desert
she knows how to run
and run run run she will
sprinting like sand in the wind
broke a nail thinking it could bend
but it snapped
like her heart
like the tattoo she had carved
into the small of her back
a small black dot
representing death
and all she'd wasted |

kinda far fetched on the surface, or maybe I'm thinking too hard. But I did get the concept once I thought about it. |
