The Killer, by Julia Anne
|
This killer was on a murderous streak.
Every week a new victim he did seek.
Man, woman, always a child.
After he killed he was tired.
One day while in a murderous mood
He saw a young girl all alone,
He called out to her in a friendly tone.
Thinking nothing of it the girl went to him.
He grabbed her limb
And said, “I want to show you something. Come with me.”
Curious the girl went.
He led her to a hidden cove where they bent
Down to get inside. Suddenly, he began to attack!
She tried to go back,
But he was too fast and she was bleeding too much.
When she collapsed he gave here face a gentle touch
And he wished he had not killed her,
He felt something he had never felt before.
It was regret
For the life he had taken!
It was love
For the girl lying dead on the floor!
What could he do?
Nothing. Nothing!
So he took his knife,
And took his life. |
