Love's Puppet, by Shine-On
|
Deep within
We’re filled with strings
Tied to pieces
And fragile things
Like guitars
They’re pulled and plucked
Till one breaks
And ends our luck
Replaceable
Yet still sore
Will always hurt
Where it wore
They run through body
With clinging feel
Grow within us
To where we heal
But if what heals
Is broken
How can we fix
What some have stolen

I really love it. The puppet metaphor/theme was really revealing |
