Fish story, by papaya
|
An uninvited fish came to my life through my computer
screen
That fish made me smile through his jokes
That fish amused me with his lies
That fish put me to sleep through his lullaby
That fish also enjoyed listening to the songs sung by my
squeaky voice
T
hat fish helped me to edit my essays
That fish shared me his philosophy of life
That fish motivated me to do things that I have never done
in my life before
That fish was with me on the phone until we both could
barely open our eyes
That particular fish made me dream
That same fish made me fly
I am sure we had great moment together and
Thought I was someone special to him
Then he announced…….
After 99 days
He had decided to share his world with a very special soul
whom he met (perhaps 7 days ago)
What a fish!
He is the fish who made me dream and he is the exact fish
who destroyed my dream
My beautiful dream is gone
I can't capture the elusive dream
Nor beg the crystal ball to put those broken pieces of dream
together
If I had known it would be that painful to dream, I would
not have granted that fish a ticket to fly to my dream
world
I
know there are more important things to do ahead of me than
healing the pain from my heart
But I can't help analyzing the fish story
And thinking…..
I
n the past,
What mistakes I had done to make the fish abandon me?
What was the reason?
What did I say to upset the fish?
In the future,
Who is going to sing songs for me?
Who am I going to share my jokes with?
Who is going to keep me accompany
Who is going to motivate me to write poems?
If there is justification somewhere, who can I blame for all
of these????
The fish story is ended but my answers to these questions
are not….
And I am still awake 6: 30 in the morning……… …..
Doing nothing……
But thinking of him....
