So much sorrow, by Murielle
|
Alive today
But dead tomorrow
Looking down
On faces of sorrow
Knowing that you’re
The one they’ll miss
And loved ones are the ones
You have kissed
You can be an atheist
Or a Jew
But no one knows
What will happen to you
Meet with ancestors
Way up top
Or intensify the earth
With wonderful crop
When you’re alive
You know the concept
But when you die
Do you know what to expect?
So live everyday
Like there’s no tomorrow
And know you wouldn’t leave
So much sorrow
