Little Pieces, by LostSoul
|
This life has turned to tragedy
I wish it was not reality
Forever livin' in the day
Of whatever might come my way
Livin' it day by day
Takin' it one step at a time
'Til I can get my feet off the ground
For all of life's simplicity
There's always one constant
It's my complexity
Of the world's reality
Taking the simple things in life
And cutting it with a knife
To know the little pieces
Of what's been missing all my life |

Sad. Good but sad. i really like it though. easily relatable and i like that about this. it's not one of those poems you get lost in trying to desipher the meaning and destroying the poem by hidden metaphors and what not. though i like metaphors, this is one that i am glad was left without. I very much like it. |
