Second thoughts

Each day the people we greet with a good morn Its only said because its the norm and the same with more rain or is'nt it cold What if we became more attentive and bold And stopped and listened to what is really being said Perhaps they are saying I am cold inside through lack of love They need more than a word as you go on your way This I can promise you if you stop when you say good day And you let them know what you say is not just words from out of the blue That they are words with meaning and feeling and are meant just for you. Yes of course you may say you are so busy and hav'nt the time Only remember this time is not ours and and is only lent Please use it wisely and and make sure that it's spent On spreading your love widely freely to all who love you You will get it back when they reply I love you too Yes you can easily see all the above did happen to me But I have changed, and I do listen, so this is my plea Next time someone says hello and what a nice day Please stop and listen to what they really have to say By Danny Wilson .
