let it fall on me
and wet the surface of my shoes
it brings a slow chill to my nerves
it will be cold but only for a minute
soon it will warm into my being
im so use to the warm flow of tears
this is such a new sensation
the water is falling from the sky
instead of my eyes
its so new it brings a smile to my lips
i extend my arm farther then the roof
into something so different
it changes everything
the sky is darker then my days
what a wonderful change for my eyes to witness
