Would It Have Benn Better?

As she lays there Cold Hard Motionless You see her there And think to yourself Would it have been better? If you just saw her And did not know what had happened You didn’t know that she took her own life That she was in so much pain And that she could not take it anymore That she was not strong enough to handle the suffering Would it have been better if you were not able to really see her? You were not able to notice the cuts on her arm And you were not able to see the deep red stains on her clothing And you were not able to realize the pain portrayed by her face As if it was a part of her body A part of her soul Or be able to see the glass in her arm or the knife drowning in the sticky red liquid that came from her body Would it have been better that you were not there no hear her screams and shouts That you hadn’t experienced and overheard the pain that her sad voice passed That you hadn’t heard the slash of when she cut herself too deep That you hadn’t heard the blood eager to get out of her body And kill her Would it have really been better?~*
