The Most Beautiful Thing, by *~Mik@y1@~*
|
You’re the most beautiful thing
I ever did see.
You’re even more beautiful
Than all the beautiful things around me.
Your eyes are like a single bloom
In a field of gray.
A little bit of color
To drive the dreariness away.
Your smile is like a shining light
In a lightless place.
So big, so bright, so full of joy,
It brightens every space.
Your skin is like hot cocoa,
During a mid-winter freeze.
As the ice cools the world,
It warms my body with ease.
Your voice is like a soothing touch
In a world of pain.
A break in one’s constant agony
That doesn’t seem to wane.
You’re like a beautiful melody
Never heard before.
A heartfelt love ballad
That I completely adore.
You’re like a perfect rainbow
After a massive storm.
The colors, oh so vibrant
Are more beautiful than the norm.
Your lips are like a furry kitten
So very soft and tender.
With so much love and affection,
I stand in eternal splendor.
Your embrace is like a favorite item,
That you hold so very near.
It is a brand new fairy tale,
To which I strongly adhere.
You’re heartbeat is a powerful life force
That I share with you.
And if you ever leave me,
I'm afraid of what my heart will do. © |
