Strangers (Observations from a Restuarant), by LostSoul

They sit their staring
At the food they eat
But they can't look at each other
Forgot the vows to be forever
They feel so weak
Not a single word to speak
Picking at the food they eat
They zone each other out
Lack of communication through the years
Love gone because of fears
Now their numb from love
So much resentment
No form of involvement
They stay because of him
The only reason it seems
Their only joy in life
The rest is just strife
Her with her insecurities
The only thing she has is her body
Him with his stubbornness
The only thing he has is her
How long before it crashes |
