Empty Eyes

What is running through your mind What could you be thinking The look on your face is so blank So full of lost expression The bruises cover your face Failed attemts at happiness Into the eyes of the sleep deprived A psychotic young girl with nothing No family to share the holidays with No man, no children to love her I stare into those eyes That I have known for so long I don't know why you're doing this Why you have the gun in your hand What is left I stare into those eys They scare me so I stare into those eyes As they stare back into mine I stare into those eyes The ones in the mirror Looking back at me Searching for the answers What are you doing I always knew it would end this way I only wish there was someone else here Other than myslef To try and stop me from what I'm about to do I have only destroyed myslef Body, Mind and soul I am already gone As I stare into those empty eyes
