Before he could remember he had always been in her web,
Captured.
But looking into his eyes you could see,
He has found a flaw in her web,
And though he knows it,
He is afraid.
Not of what she would do if he escaped,
But what would happen once he did.
In a world where he only knew one,
Freedom meant many of whom he did not.
In a web where a trickle of rain,
Was the only other danger besides her,
He wondered what must lay out there.
And in a place,
Where he is torn between the life he hates,
And the one hes afraid of,
He must be the one to choose.
Does he stay in a web where he knows his fate,
Or does he take his chances,
And venture out into a world,
Where he knows nothing. |

An intriuging exploration of the human psyche... I love it!
Darkly beautiful.
