soul voyage, by AdiKOV
|
walking alone through the desert
like a lonesome predator
my soul journeys through the desert
but not as a predator but as the prey
stepping across the dunes
sand getting into its eyes
on every grain a memory is stamped
a memory from my life and dreams
it cries from happyness and sorrow
as the memories fly by it
the eternal wind blows away the happyness
bringing once distant black sands
blowing it into my soul
my soul became dark like the sand
scraped and cut by its grains
grains with razor ends
darkness embarks my soul
burrying it into the sand
the wind made a grave for my soul
writing an epitaph for everyone to know
that here under the sand lies
once proud and strong soul
full of love and life
that was drained from it
leaving nothing inside
in a way the death of my soul
is not sinister or sad
my soul was destroyed and in it
there was nothing left to kill... |
