Falling, by MelissaJMc
|
I catch myself as I slip
Then change my mind
And prepare for the fall
Watching the walls fade into space
And my fingernails bleed as I grasp for dear life
I taste the ground in my mouth
And my head starts to spin
Here I am again
After so much time
And all I thought I was before
I am not any different
I am still the same disappointment
The screams from the sidelines
Make me think they still care
But they all came to watch
They knew it would happen
Front row seats to the show
