Rebirth Of A Phoenix, by LostSoul
|
You think you can make me sweat
Take my last breath
Put me to rest
But I'm fire
No one can take my desire
You try to put me out
You think you know what I'm all about
Tell me to throw in the towel
But all you do is make me growl
But like a small fire it spreads
You shake your head
You can't believe what you see
You think you can suffocate me
What you don't understand
Is you can't control me
You try to command
Demand
Try to expand
Your control
On my soul
But you forgot I have a mind of my own
I can be alone
I'm full grown
Once the fire is out
Don't doubt
Reborn from the ashes
Multiple flashes
Rebirth of a phoenix...
Born out of necessity
Giving me clarity
Of a brand new life, eternity |
