The roar of the ocean hitting the beach carrying in bits of debris scattering sand in all directions knocking our sand castle into tiny bits breaking of the waves, the gentle murmur of the undertow tugging at our castle smashing the walls, caving in of the roof water invading, our own territory I built that sand castle in my life decorated it with tiny bits of you now the waves or was it simply time came along and destroyed what was mine knocking our sand castle into tiny bits breaking our love, just calling it quits smashing any hopes, caving in of feeling that's how I feel as I watch you leaving! 4/1/94
