everyone tells me not to worry
but time goes by in such a hurry
one second you're small
the next you're walking tall
lean, beautiful, and strong
looking right, but feeling wrong
on the inside you hide it away
under the depths, it stays at bay
fake smiles, fake laughs, fake attitude
walking around with nothing to lose
it tears at your heart
shredding you apart
hidin so well under your shallow skin
hundreds of tears well within
frozen to ice they're never let out
walking around in a constant drought
