Bitter Sweet Good-bye, by LostSoul
|
As I sing my life on stage built up from age
I can hear you breathing, wanting, needing
Screaming for me to stop singing
Of my love for you bleeding
Cause my life is a part of you
Embedded in history
Can't forget the misery
And we both know, it's through
Love is just a camouflage for hate
An unsuspecting victim of state
Dormant 'till awoken by fate
And all that's left is rage
Engulfing us trapped in a cage
Trapped in the neverending print of a page
Nothing's left to gauge
But a bitter sweet good-bye
Love was fun in the beginning
There comes a time for an ending
The end has come nothing's left defending
No need pretending, fate has given us our rendering
The only thing left to do is "sigh"
