Graduation, by Invisible Poet
|
I say she wont notice im gone
these lies roll from my tounge
I feel as if i am no more than a pawn
in the song of the world that is sung
She takes her first steps
into the harshness that is life
I will follow her into the depths
of whatever becomes of this endless strife
She smiles in pure glee
as i embrace her in my arms
she gazes up into the eyes that make me
i will shelter her from the worlds harms
I promise to never
stand in front,or behind
for that relationship would sever
I will remain beside
the one that i love
you who sees me differently
to me she is my precious dove
And to her i am simply me |
