You're an angel above the heavens, you're a shining star at night, you got addicted to those drugs, and to me, went out of sight. Why did you leave me? When all you did was lie. You got hooked up on drugs, and the results made you die, I was only three remember, Why did you turn your back on me? I looked after you, aren’t you supposed to look after me? What you did to me, if something I can’t forgive, seeing your face is now a blur, I wonder what drugs you took to make you live?? But now I'm here were people live with love, And Im living happily this time, Please remember this is where I'm supposed to be And now you know what drugs really did to me.

I really like this poem, you have written it so well. My mum walked out on me when I was three, and never speaks to me, she just left me and my dad for another man, and she let the guy beat me up and abuse me...so what Im trying to say is I know what its like to grow up without your mum. And you are brave for writing about it.

This is a very touching poem. It takes a lot to write about something you hold so deep and I truly admire you for doing so. You're a wonderful writer keep it up!
