A tear rolls down my cheek,
As I shut the bedroom door,
A shiver down my spine,
Send me crashing to the floor.
A pounding of my heart,
Keeps me running out of breath,
A turning of my brain,
Gets me feeling close to death.
A soft wind in my guts,
Makes me feel a little sick,
I can hardly lift my arms,
Hoping someone gets here quick.
My shoulders start to twitch,
And my arms begin to shake,
Every muscle and bone inside me,
Begins to hurt and ache.
Is this another nightmare?
It all seems quite fake,
Everything around me,
Seems more than I can take.
My energy has evaporated,
And the sweat begins to pour,
And every part of my body,
Is sinking to the floor.
The breaths slowly fade,
They were useless from the start,
I shouldn’t have opened up to you,
Should’ve known you’d break my heart!
