Simple Existence, by honesty_kills

shes sick of hearing it
she hates being told
but i dont want to see
how her life will unfold.
she needs help
all of us know
i dont want to see her fall
but rather live and grow.
im sorry shes hurting
confused and in pain
i want to bring her sunshine
no more thunder and rain
she is running from her identity
with many tears in her eyes
shes abandonned her galaxy
just a lone star in the sky.
come back to us, we love you
we'l bandage your scraped knees
we'll break the lock and let you out of your cage
so you can spread your wings, fly, and be free.

I like it. It's nice to be reminded that there's always someone out there you can go to. |
