Smooth Talker, by Invisible Poet
|
im heading down
on a northbound train
i left her in a wedding gown
standing in the rain
i am drenched to the bone
laying in the sun
i left this one all alone
now my deed here is done
my heart is whole and pure
with a trail of broken ones behind me
they belive me the cure
but in the end they see
i take it upon myself
to open the eyes of innocence
i take them off there shelf
and teach them some common sense
dont get attached
after so little time
i find there hearts unlatched
but what i do is no crime
