Snowstorm, by bedazzled
|
I know you're standing there somewhere
but the snowflakes muffle, I can't hear
my own screams echo, amongst the white,
just feel the knives when it turns to night.
You'll never quite keep me warm,
you'll watch me freeze in this snowstorm.
I know that freedom will never thaw
because I've been in this storm before,
no icicle daggers were able to maim
my heart as well as your bleeding name.
You'll never quite love me true
enough to stop me turning blue.
I know the iceberg will not melt,
you ignore the cold that I have felt
because of you, and your aqua lies
that cause the tears from aqua eyes.
I'm frozen in your endless vice,
unrequited, I turn to ice. |

This is beautiful as well. I love your poetry. You should really keep it up. You are amazing, but this is so sad. I know how you feel. |
