Skydiving, by Tally Youngblood
|
My life went spinning out of control,
The day I lost you
Never stopping since,
Days of problems never-ending
Too soon to stop descending
Missing you too bad
You were my best friend,
Too soon to say good bye
I wish I’d taken that last day,
To say a true good bye
But I’m running out of time,
To pull my parachute
Thousands of feet above the ground,
A coming end in sight
Losing control,
What is my purpose in life?
But then I realize,
You can live your life through me
And I’m ready,
Not to leave you in the past
But to embrace you in the future,
For I’ve never had a friend like you
And I know you’re up there now,
My guardian angel
I’m ready to pull the parachute,
Ready to embrace the future
I am after all,
Still 10,000 feet above the ground
ADRENALINE RUSH LASTS A MINUTE, BUT FRIENDS LAST A
LIFETIME!!! YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE UNTIL IT’S
GONE!!! [I’ll miss you
forever, Amanda]
