Maybe one day,
She can make him proud or
Wish he will understand her decisions.
     Hopefully one day,
He will accept her or
Realize she can do something true.
     Possibly one day,
She will make the right choice or
Recognize he wants the best for her.
     Maybe one day,
He will let her grow up or
Allow her to do some wrong.
     Hopefully one day,
She can tolerate some of his advice or
Listen to what he has to say,
     Possibly one day,
He will finally set her free or
She can finally call him dad.
