Mayzie

Mayzie she comes to visit
but not too often or too much
She has so very much to do
her hair and nails and such
Mayzie she is so very willing
to let others do her share
but she'll always be the first to say
that "Life is so unfair"
Mayzie she plays the victim
it is always "Woe is me"
but don't feel too sorry for her
for she's just where she wants to be
Mayzie has no love to give
all of it does she choose to keep
so when you go to shed a tear
it's for her kids that you should weep
Mayzie will be the first to complain
"you should do my job much better"
but she won't do her job herself
even when you try and let her
Mayzie can't see past herself
she is all that she can ever see
and the person she is right now
is probably all she will ever be.
