why do i feel this way
what makes this day so different
i truly hope these emotions are to stay
and the end of everyday my emotions are spent
i know what is that makes today different
although i know not what to do
Inside i am no longer broken and bent
my emotional armor has been breached by you
without knowing you set to work
repairing damage you could not see
for in the darkness my problems lurk
you are one of the few to ever look inside of me
the first to make it past my defenses
i set in place long ago
you have removed me of my senses
and have seen how easy it is for me to sink low
you leave me smiling without cause
i have committed an act of treason
you leave me laughing without pause
but for your crying i am the reason
