If You Were Her, by Lovecrafter
|
Would she dare
To take what was given
Without just cause?
Would she flirt
With the idea of
Falling forever?
Would she give
Up on every thing
She was promised?
Would she die
For a loving embrace
Flying her home?
Would she stand
In the cold,painful rain
Catching her tears?
Would she love
Just to be denied love
Knowing the truth?
If you were her
And had her pain
What would you do?
Just so you know
She would remain.
Those of you who have read some of my other poems lately
might have noticed how I have left little "please comment"
messages. These are just a new thing I wanted to start, not
cries for popularity . I might go into a writhing career one
day, but I just need a little bit of feedback before I
decide for sure. Just don't cuss me out. Okay, back to poem,
if this inspired you in any way, leave a quick comment and
go about your business. |
