Waiting, by Invisible Poet
|
a decision you have decided
and for the first time in my history
i am not the one at your side
and to me this is no mystery
for he is better than me
in every way and every form
there is so much more you two can be
than if you wasted your time on the heart torn
child that i am, for i am no man
and never will i be
i can be happy no matter where you stand
whether next to him or next to me
yes i would prefer it was my hand
that you chose to hold
but i know i am simple and bland
and many of my secrets will remain untold
i can wait for you
for as long as you see fit
you should know i have fallen for you too
and in the dark waiting for you, i sit |
