Anood, by Metamorphoser
|
Ay En O O Dee
Nostalgic but can never ODee
I’ll tell you of a true story a decade old
But you have to promise me to stay on board
Nervous as I recall the details of the past unveiled
Taken by her bravura ambience I felt prevailed
Even though I was illustrious amongst ordinary schoolgirls
After meeting her I will tell you she was simply not one of
those girls
All I know I should have called her Violette
Briefly met and chiefly silhouette but how can I ever forget
Oh I can write and write to you describing her delicate
beauty
The lips the eyes ask me!..I didn’t capture her shadow oh
No!..but I
captured her photo out of deliberate duty!
I know Hemingway you missed out on this
The Soul Illuminator she was with her sugar caned lips
You should have taken red bull my friend to witness with me
this bliss
Most importantly even though years went by but her name in
my heart still exists
World turmoil with an offspring of five major warfares since
the year 2000 topped with the 21st century’s sarcasm of
the 2009 swine flu and Yet No Sign From Her End!
Now everybody wants to know how the story ends
Finally Found Her by twist of fate through cyberspace blend
Overwhelmed and numb..The girl is married..But I must
portend so as not to impend!
Anood was her name and married she became with the last two
letters of her name ODee
Nostalgic indeed but now you know why I can never ODee
I just told you a true story a decade old
But you already made your promise to stay on board !
