they all knew, by h.
|
embarrassed and humiliated
i cry on the floor
nothing is said
but they stand around me
staring
vultures waiting for me
to pick myself up off the ground
and then the next one will take me down
with a diminishing shelter
i have no place to hide
his intentions become known
the hatred is stifled again
i want to say things
i want to cause harm
they expect the epitome of charm
and i can't live up to that
he wanted me for nothing
but he knew
they all knew
and i was left in the dark |
