Dance, by Invisible Poet
|
the surging crowd, the rippling mass
we lose ourselves within the beat
in between us and the world a sheet of glass
our bodies are overcome by the heat
the pulsing lights
the sweat stinging our eyes
we make the most spectacular sight
eveyone else in the room dies
there is only you and me
your heart beating against my chest
within this moment i set myself free
our lips touch and neither jest
hands locked against my shirt
pulling me into my last chance
tonight there will be no hurt
only losing ourselves within the dance |
