all we used to share was fun
in the world we were light and carefree
i feel that these feelings are done
it hurts to see the way you look at me
thinking i am yours to own
no seeing i have been slipping
you cannot see the distance has grown
you cannot see the bond is ripping
if ever there was a bond
it is no where to be found
over me you have fawned
and cannot stand when he is around
with you i want to smile
but i dont want to fake
i want my happiness to be real once in awhile
my heart i feel is going to break
you cannot see this was starting before
i ever laid eyes on him, and his eyes found me
i dont want to lie anymore
i want to be happy
