Ocean's End, by Convalescence
|
My tears are never gone away,
but laughter comes again.
I just do not know what to say
when asked how I have been.
My life is sad without you
is what I cannot say.
I wish that you would love me too,
and tears would go away.
Dreams won't show me what is true,
I know this through my tears.
It helps to always think of you,
it conquers all my fears.
I know in truth you don't love me,
No matter what I say.
I've hoped to in the future see
the freedom of a day.
I know for sure that I must go,
there is no question there.
For this I know, I've stooped too low,
you are too much to bear.
My eyes meet yours everyday,
and question what I see.
I look at you no special way,
it's how you look at me.
You look at me with loving eyes,
I don't know what I see.
Your friendship is a real prize,
it always sets me free.
For love does come in many ways,
from you it's as a friend.
But I wait for you on the bay,
it's at the ocean's end.
