Last Night She Cried

By Don't build lies on ice cubes.

There was a feather pillow It was lying upon a tired bed She took it to bury herself As thoughts poisened her own head I didnt see her crying Each reason a static dot Nudged until a smile returned An expresion she'd forgot Reddened eyes from the sorrow Blue eyes flashing the hidden storm Depression piercing turgid love Blood starting to run lukewarm Tissue sponged the weeping eye The salt just soaked right through Well a comfort formed all around Leading you to see just what to do Night turned into daytime As the dream eased a troubled mind And with the sun rising strong No longer did the truth blind For its not the end of the world To want to do something for your own And if coupled dont think its selfish Rest assured your not alone And when the pillared strength Becomes to pressing for you to bear Come here and find that pillow Let someone else show that they care Strength is greater if in numbers And you dont have to be just one If being leaned on is forcing you down Silence should not be done And if your worried about who shall hear Well that pillow is on that bed Cry into it in sole comfort And I'll feel what must be said
